High ropes course
Adventure high above the ground
This is Austria's only natural high rope course which was built without cutting down one single tree. It is also the highest rope course - participants climb from treetop to treetop to reach stations at a height of 17 to 23 metres.
"Not one single branch was cut," says Markus Pineider, developer of the natural Zauberwinkel high rope course in Oberau. A total of 32 stations with 3 different levels of difficulty await visitors. At 37 metres above the ground, a bench with beautiful views is the highest point of the course. From here, climbers can see the Inn Valley all the way to the Wilder Kaiser mountains - not to mention a squirrel or two as they scurry from branch to branch.
