The Apparthotel Talhof Wildschönau is located in the middle of green meadows, directly on the cycle and hiking trails in Oberau in the Wildschönau, surrounded by the landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. The free hiking and ski bus conveniently stops right in front of the hotel.

In winter, the hotel's own "Roggenboden" ski area, cross-country ski trails, a ski school, a toboggan run and winter hiking trails are located directly next to the hotel. The award-winning “Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau”, one of the ten largest ski areas in Tyrol, offers endless possibilities.

Natural lake with sunbathing lawn

Our sheep pasture is something like our own piece of nature. A 10 minute drive, passed Auffach, towards Schönanger Alm. There you'll find a private idyllic spot, exclusively for Talhof guests.

As is customary in Tyrol, a family runs the hotel. Two generations are also involved, while the third - our offspring - enjoys following the hotel business from the guests' perspective.

Some of the family-friendly offers you can look forward to are our playrooms, highchairs, a playground and our own beginners' ski area. Behind the house, the Wildschönau and the Drachental adventure world beckon.
